hi, my first question! i am in the process of re-=doing my garden and want to plant some alliums but i cant find any! saw some at a garden centre about a month ago but now i cant find any :-(

I doubt you will see them now till the autumn when they restock their bulbs.

Start looking end of August and September - plant then, and you'll have them in flower next spring, as the others say.

It is a little late in the year to be planting alliums, the certainly wont flower this year. You can probably buy them on-line still but I'd wait and buy them in late summer to plant in autumn or even buy to plant in early spring.
