i have tried to grow cestrum parqui from seed
as the compost had been used before in a raised bed
there were many things came up
i weeded out leaving whatever was in the centre of the pots as that was were i had put the seeds
as anyone got a picture of a cestrum seedling or have i just potted on a lot of weeds

Ah, you've just learnt the hard way why you don't reuse compost for sowing seed. Fine for plants as you know what is what. You could leave that pot and see what happens and start of another one with fresh seed compost. In general seed compost is a leaner mix than general compost used in raised beds etc.
