Hello Plastow,
I planted a rose last year [compassion] and it grew a bit [it was sufficiently fed and watered] but didn't put out any buds. This year we have about 4 flowers so far, so maybe it just takes time, good luck.

Plastow, some old roses, and some modern landscape shrub roses, only bloom on year old wood. So the stems that grow this year, will be covered in buds next year. That is why Bamboo is asking what variety it is.

Hmm, I've answered this already the first time you asked, Plastow, as has another member, and the answer was no. Can I ask what variety of rose they are?
