Hi my Torbay palm was damaged in the snow and has no leaves on it however the advice you guys gave me was to hold in there if the truck was solid and see if there was any growth in spring. Well I have 5 sprouts at the bottom of the trunk all growing away from the trunk so not attached. Should I try and repot some of them or leave alone???

You could try that but I read somewhere they are quite hard to root. No harm in trying though, the others will happily grow away until the next severe winter kills them :)

If there's no growth anywhere from the existing trunk, I'd cut that down to the base and let the new shoots from the rootstock grow on. If there are loads, you can try to get a couple off, but you'd need a good piece of root attached.

Not having grown this plant, I don't honestly know. Why not hedge your bets and try one of them?
