The daffodil I have in patio containers have already shot up. Will they be ok for spring and is there anything I can do for them?

Whoops John,
I am red faced, I hadn't checked. I was under the illusion she was English.
I am slinking off now.

They'll be fine if left in a cool shady place. Daffodills need a cold snap to get them into gear for Spring. Snow or frost doesn't bother them.

Yes they will be O.K for the spring. Don't let them be drawn up in growth anymore.
Are your patio containers in the light from your house and getting the warmth coming through your walls?.
Move them to a darker, cooler place.
