I have an old aluminium greenhouse which had most of its glass destroyed in gales over a number of years. I now want to reglaze it and have been considering polycarbonate instead of glass as I have been informed it is stronger. I have tried to get information about polycarbonate and am now totally bewildered by it.
Could I ask if polycarbonate is stronger? Is it easy to fit into a standard greenhouse? I would appreciate your views on my dilema. The only place that does a full greenhouse kit is B&Q. Thanks for any advice.

Thank you for that.
I looked at the B&Q product yesterday but it is only single ply and I have decided to go for the 4mm double ply and use a sealant to fix it in. There is a guy on ebay selling a good looking product and weel priced too. I am not committed to it yet so if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions please post them on this topic.
Thank you for looking and any suggestions.

I think it is less susceptible to wind damage but lets less light in.
