I have just planted my new rhododendron ( Dopey ) I have bought some Miracle Gro liquid plant food, especially for this kind of shrub, would it be too early to feed it?

If you are using it as a soil drench, and it isn't the Miracle Gro for Acid Loving Plants, I would add about a tablespoon per gallon of white vinegar to the mixture, to provide the needed acid.

Best to wait a couple of weeks or so, unless you're doing a foliar spray feed with it. Don't feed past June though.
