I have just finished picking my raspberries when can I transplant the new plants that have grown

Sorry Mickpo I'm confused we have not even started to harvest our rasps. yet. However, once the canes have fruited you cut them back and let the new canes grown to produce next years fruits. You don't transplant anything.

I have only had one rasp go pink so far - what variety did you grow that is so early? If you are talking about new canes that are appearing some distance from the original plants I would leave them until the autumn. When you plant them out they should be cut down almost to ground level and so they will not fruit in the first year.

How do I say thanks?
