Winter care for Jasminum

Hi
I have a Jasminum 'Fiona Sunrise' in a container. I was wondering if it required any particular care during the winter, i've done nothing with it but its leaves have started to die from the base up and also a few of the tips.

I was wondering if this was usual for the winter or if its been affected by the frosts.

Is there something I need to be doing with it or will it right itself in the spring?

Wyevale say it prefers a sheltered spot, so move the pot up against the house for winter. Bits will die off but they can be snipped off and the plant should regrow in spring. Lift the pot off the ground on pot feet so that it drains freely over winter. Support long shoots on canes to avoid wind damage.
