No 1 could be a blurry antirrhinum
No 2 - ?
No 3 is suffering from rain splatters or insect infestation. Could be a Helichrysum - one of those used as a foliage plant in hanging baskets. H. petiolare?

1. Could be right, Beattie, or is it Blurry Willherb.
2. Looks like a Pansy, but like a lot of other things too.
3. You are right with H. petiolare (I think they have a new name now)

Do you know, Vincent, I wrote "Pansy seedling" for No. 2 & then erased it! The lower leaves are right, but the top pair seemed too pointy to me.

No 3 looks like a very straggly Sedum.

Blurry willowherb is really hard to handweed because it merges with the background.

Hard to get a grip on, too! : )

You'd probably be at risk of that industrial disease - Vibration White Finger, as well.

1 A weed like willow herb. Pull it out.

2 ?

3 Helichrysum

18 Jun, 2011

1. Blurry willow herb
2. Pansy with more willow herb growing through it
3. Not sedum - leaves aren't fleshy... I'll go with general view of helichrysum

Sensi it would be easier for us to help you if you put up good clear in focus photos
