Has anybody grown Acacia baileyana "Purpurea" which is a golden mimosa ?
If so can I grow it in a large container ?
It's foliage is bluey green & I just couldn't resist buying it!

Thank you for advice - it is very helpful. I will just hope to luck or good management that it will survive.

I've never grown it, but I can tell you it's slightly tender, and a large plant if it survives winter, reaching 26 feet, so grow it in a pot, moving up in size when necessary, and accept it's a temporary visitor. If you move it to a greenhouse for winter, you may keep it for about 4 or 5 years, but they are fast growing, so maybe not. Otherwise find a very sheltered spot in the garden for it.

How do I say thanks?
