I bought approx. 40 freesias from a well-known national nursery through mail order. They are all coming along slowly but not flowering yet (north-east England). However, I am wondering what to do with them once they have finished flowering. I understand they are quite tender. Should I collect the bulbs in (they are all in tubs) and store for next year? I really don't want to lose them as they are my favourite flower and this is the first time I have grown them. Thanks.
p.s. I really must change my username - lost quite a bit of weight and wanted to tell the world!!!

Thanks for that. I'll try my best to keep them alive!

hi and well done on the weight loss.
yes you need to keep them frost free if you want to keep them. Though I have never had much success in keeping them going.
