Second DRC726 - a Skimia japonica. No idea what variety though.

THank you so much for your comments For years it has been overshadowed by a small tree which we have recently removed I want it to start flowering and bearing the berries again Is it likely to recover?

it looks a bit like my Daphne tangutica as well as my skimmia

I thinks it's a skimmia too, but to get berries you will most probably need another shrub of the opposite sex.

Skimmia may be dioecious (their male and female parts on separate plants).or hermaphrodite and then you only need one.

I think this is Skimmia Japonica 'reevesiana'? is it evergreen with red berries?
