We planted some potatoes in a bag in April. They have no flowers yet, although they have plenty of foliage. Should they have flowers by now? We thought that you dig up your potatoes when the flowers have died back.

Some potato varieties don't flower or flower very little. Work your hand down into the bag and feel around, if you can feel reasonable size potatoes then take as many as you need for a meal and let the rest grown on - especially if they are an early variety as these do not keep well.
