Arabian Jasmine (Jasminum sambac) is even better for indoors, being more shade tolerant, and with a longer bloom season.

That's a new one on me, Tugbrethil, don't think I've ever seen it here.

It's more of a tropical plant, And it would probably only available from houseplant specialists, there, Bamboo. The single form is the Jasmine used for jasmine tea. The double form--'Grand Duke'--is used for leis in Hawaii.

So okay in a greenhouse or indoors here then, which is probably why I've never seen it, nor is it listed in my plant encylopaedias, but they're both British, of course. I shall google it out of interest...

What a little beauty that is, Tugbrethil - seems to like humid tropical environments, so perfect in a heated glasshouse.

yes - but they do need to be stood outside during summer - never let the compost dry out either, and provide good support for the twining stems. Best one to use is Jasminum polyanthum (Pink Jasmine).
