I have an Estelle cherry in a large pot about 4 foot high. It is healthy with no disease. Every year we get hundreds of white blossom and then a large amount of healthy green cherries and then the problem starts. As soon the cherries start to ripen they shrivel on the plant and fall off. Please does someone have an explanation for this.

If the fruits don't go mouldy first and then shrivel, the most likely explanation is shortage of water - increase watering as the fruits are forming and keep it up until you crop.
