ID Please on 4 July 2011. These are the plants I saw in local winter gardens.

The first could be Escholtzia, the Californian poppy, a red form, the middle one is Surfinia petunia, don't know the name of the particular colours, the third looks like Campanula glomerata, possibly, flowering behind a Geranium.
