Just an update on my Olive Tree (see previous post) it is in just the same state, as I cut it back, earlier in year, looks dead.....but and here is the question it still remains fresh green under the bark from the root to the tips, it is about 6 ft high and expensive to replace so is there still hope ??

I would try to jump start it with a solution of 1 tablespoon white sugar, and 1 teaspoon of tomorite, per gallon of water. Mix up enough gallons to give it a good soaking, plus a spray of the stems.

Thanks for your replies, I have given the olive the 'jump start' treatment and await the result...jilly

Again, it doesn't sound good, but just leave it somewhere sheltered and warm if you're not in a hurry to replace it, then dump it if its not performing next year.
