hi
can anyone give me advise on leylandi hedges that have brown patches on various areas they are well established and are 20ft high we keep them well trimmed they have been fine for years this has only just
started and is spoiling the look of them.

Cypress aphid can cause this - they infest the tree during the spring and by mid summer, yellow or brown dead patches appear in the foliage. Alternatively, if you're in the south or east, drought could have caused the die back.
