why do leaves have black spots

Hello Arnold.. I think Euphorbia millii likes to take a rest in what would be its dry season but how it behaves in India may be different.I should . take a few cuttings in case it is on the way out.. I have an idea it dislikes too much water. If it is only old leaves that are falling don't worry.
