I have followed your advice and pruned my Dracaena Marginata right back to the stem on 1st July There are now several black spots appearing on the top of the cut stem Is this a sign of regrowth [or not !!! ]

Ooh, a photograph of that is called for I think, Jacksondscar - I remember this question originally. Seems very early for signs of regrowth, it might be its got a fungal infection of some kind. What did you cut it with? Hopefully newly cleaned and sharp secateurs...
