my brother has given me tops off his Lupins which have seed pods still atatched to the stem..do I let them dry in their pods or remove them for more seeds. thankyou.

if they are still very green the seed may not have fully formed so wont grow next year. ideally the pods should be allowed to dry/brown on the plant before picking off.
they may continue to ripen as the plant dries out. the green seeds are not viable at this stage. they need to be grey/brown.
