Answers
It is Atriplex (hortensis I think). You can eat the leaves cooked like spinach and it seeds around. The lower picture is the seed head, Bamboo.

Yes the leaves are cooked when young. It has a green leaf cutivar also. Thank u Marshmallow, The flowers are very small ,the picture shows a seed head.It matches
A. hortensis of Chenopodiaceae.

If those are the flowers in the bottom picture, this is not a plant I recognise.
