Potato fruit

I've got potato fruit which I know are not safe to eat and I was wondering are the potatoes from these plants are safe to eat?

Yes go ahead and eat the potatoes you dig up, the fact that the plant has flowered and produced seed will have no effect. Bulba and I lifted a plant today which had small fruits on it.

Just make sure you wheely bin any fruits - don't put in the compost...

The potato roots are OK to eat, it is only the fruits (and foliage) that are not.
