If you are talking about the common white arum lily, Zantedeschia aethiopica, then I would use a water retentive potting compost, and a 3-1-2 formula fertilizer, such as 18-6-18, or the like. For the colored species, I would use a compost with better drainage, and a more evenly balanced fertilizer, such as 20-20-20, or 7-7-7.
