Ihave been growing jasmine officinale for a few years on a wall, and it has bloomed with white flowers every year.Unfortunately this year it has turned brown and woody with very few flowers. I am wondering if it is dead following an over zealous trim last year. Should I try and feed it back to life, is it too late, or should I cut it down and plant a new one? Thanks Donna.

This is quite robust and should shoot from the base again. It flowers best on side shoots from the main branches, so trim each year should encourage more flowers.

I would give it a light trim and a good feed and wait and see?
