Mine are not yet flowering another week or so. Mine is in clay and I give mine a good mulch of well rotted garden compost every spring and a handful of bone fish and blood. Its still not too late to try some fish and blood around the base before it flowers this year. I think if it does not flower this year I would consider pruning it next spring as well.

I have this it likes a sunny spot. They dont usually need pruning after they mature. They are full hardy but in colder areas, shrubs might need a winter mulch? What feed do you give it?
