Sorry I don't know, but you're not the only one. A theory I've seen is that it's due to mildew. Blame the weather this year and hope for better next time ......

I've planted hundreds of impatiens in my customers gardens and they did well for a few weeks and now nearly all have died or are dying. This is the third year I've had problems. I recommended my customers to avoid impatiens this year but most ignored my advice!

Mine got off to a very bad start and I thought they were "going backwards" but I'm amazed to say they have recovered and are flowering nicely, though nothing like as big as they ought to be by now. Last year they just wilted and gave up. Its very odd.

I've got some pile of plants here in my backyard. and I could never be happier about it. The bonds with my children really went high and I could feel their passion towards gardening.

This has been the subject of much discussion on here recently. Sadly its been a bad year for them eaten or disease wise.
