Can I take cuttings from leggy Geranium?

Can I take cuttings of geraniums over wintered in a cold greenhouse which are too leggy?

Answers
I always took my pelargonium cuttings in spring, putting them into very gritty compost and not covering them with any plastic bag or anything. They tend to rot in my experience so not too moist while they are rooting...

I did , I put them in made up swell gel and left them to root , as I always say .....give it a go ! what have you got to loose
