Can anyone offer advice please? We planted an apple tree about 3 years ago but it's in the wrong place. Would it be ok to dig it up and move it? It's about 6' tall. This year it's laden with apples, very tasty apples too. It's great to walk past and pick one to eat whilst wandering around the garden. If it's ok to move it, what is the best thing to do?

Hmm, its the "about" 3 years ago that's worrying. If it was less than 2 years, you'd get away with it, with care - more than 3 years, not sure the tree would survive the move without use of a crane and tarpaulin sling and a digger for the rootball.
