hardy geraniums[cranesbill]

I have a few hardy geraniums [cranesbill] that seem to have died overwinter.
Is it in order to leave these plants in situ over winter?
Also is it possible they have not died and i am looking for growth to early?

As we have had a cold winter (and more to come!) some plants that normally keep a few leaves over winter may die back further than usual. If your Geraniums are the hardy sort they will be fine and should sprout later.

Some species keep their leaves through the winter, and I have some that do this and are - but many disappear until the spring - so don't worry!

Mine always disappear over winter. Not to worry. They'll be back.

Tough as old boots. They'll be back.

It's a bit too early for Geraniums yet! They are pretty reliable plants so they should be fine.
