what should i do to agapanthas once they have finished flowering

Answers
You can cut the dead flower heads off if you like (cut at the base) or leave them if you like the look of the seed pods for your winter garden. It doesn't matter which you choose.

You can cut the flowered stems off at the base, which will hopefully give you repeat flowering or you could leave them for seed, they take on an added charm once they die back.

I would also give them a high potash feed to get ready for winter.
