My rowan tree. the roots are beginning to be above or along the ground and make grass cutting harder. also , the leaves are always curled and only a few berries this year. anything I can do?

An inch or so of soil around the roots - say around 1 metre of the tree, patted down and a good watering might help. You will not get results till next year. If it is still sickly looking then I would go for Bamboo's response.

Sounds like its become enough of a nuisance, and performing badly too, to warrant its removal, perhaps?
