Can anyone identify this tree please?
Thank you everyone, yes it definitley is Viburnum Opulus as it has the white flowers in spring (which look almost like hydrangea lacecap) and the leaves turn a lovely red in autumn.

May be Guelder Rose Viburnum opulus.

Good one, the leaves are certainly a dead ringer for V. opulus 'Notcutt's Variety' - not a tree at all then.

I have seen them 15 ft or so, so could be thought of as a small tree.

Best guess with not enough info is some kind of Sorbus, but need to see the whole tree and know the colour of the bark and branches. Maybe someone else will recognise it instantly
