Ficus lyrata

I have a Ficus lyrata that is now over 10 feet tall having reached the ceiling and bending along it. Will it grow much taller? Can it be pruned? Can I repot it or add more nutrient rich soil?
By the way, it's a rescued plant and I'm quite fond of it - although my other half isn't.

Many thanks for info - hmm, I'm not sure if my other half wants another ficus. She says this one's enough.
Think I might try the air layering though and keep it quiet.
Many thanks.

You could air-layer the top and then chop it once you've got a new little plant from the layer. Most Ficus will sprout and bush out when pruned. Do this in Spring. Then you'll have 2! Watch out for drippy latex sap when you cut it.
