hello hope you can help.
I have a lack of space for planting in my front garden so this year decided to have flower bulbs in pots. They have all died off now so im now wondering what is the best way of keeping them over winter do I leave them in the compost in the pots and store them inside, ie: garage or do I take them out of the soil and dry them out and replant next year?
Many thanks sally

If they're tender bulbs, shove the pots in the shed or garage.

Definitely helps to do so for the approx 6 weeks from when the flower goes over to when the leaves die back

I'd leave them in the pots and add some fresh compost next year. Did you water with tomato food once a week when the leaves were dying back, helps the bulb to create the flower.
