I have 2 small 'standard' holly bushes which were given as a present 18 months ago. When would be a good time to move them?

When you say move them, are they in the ground or in pots? if they,re in pots and you want to plant them out then a good time is september or october or late april or may, if they,re alrady in the ground, then these times still apply, but they resent root disturbance, so try to disturb the roots as little as possible, and have the planting hole ready to receive them as soon as they,re lifted. derekm
