Will this shrub survive??

I have to replace a beautiful dark-leaved Hebe which the frost 'got' and I've seen a great shrub called 'Lophomyrtus x ralphii 'Kathryn'. All information I can find is that it's hardy to -5 degrees. Please has anyone grown this and would it be OK facing west?
On plant

I've had several attempts at a lophomyrtus but find anything more than an average winter does for it (although I never remember to fleece it until it's too late). You could try the bottomless pot method for it that I suggested for your coprosmas

« Hi Folks. Hope you are all well. Quick question. I am wondering what to do....
Trevana Nurseries (Cornwall) say plant in light sun to full shade, so I think west facing would be great. They also say that it is a good plant for cut foliage. I think it sounds great...and now I want one!
