My fushia (lady boothby) are growing very well have got
3 large pots and I am growing them up metal tripods, but how do a look after them through the winter is garden fleece any good.

My fuchsias always die right back but so far they have all come again in the Spring. Good advice is when planting in the ground put them in several inches deeper than the crown (Sorry, that doesn't help Lady Boothby does it? Would there be any chance of sinking the pots in the ground to prevent the compost freezing? Otherwise could you move them to the most sheltered spot, perhaps up against a south or south west facing wall?

i just leave them alone. mine survived the winter but it was knocked back to ground level.
