Could you identify this plant pls. I seem to have them sprouting up all over the garden. At first I thought they were weigela but I dont think so now. It grows at a very quick pace and is about 6ft tall.

Birds can drop the seeds, but its not really a weed, you can buy it as a shrub at the garden centre. On the other hand, a weed is only a plant growing where you don't want it! Pull or dig out the ones you don't want.

Bearing in mind that they grow into large bushes 6 - 8 feet high. They can be pruned smaller, but regrow vigorously.
