hi I planted some lily bulbs last autumn and have had a lovely display of flowers what do i do now with the stems do i cut the redundant stems or do i let them wither away themselves,

Answers
The longer the green leaves are left, the more growth and flowers you will get next year. A light feeding with tomorite, or something similar will help, too.

You can cut out the flowered stems, but best to leave the foliage in place to die back naturally. Eventually you'll be able to tug the dead stems off quite easily.
