Hi i would like to know how to look after my lemon pips
i put them in a plant pot did,nt think they would amount to anything but 5 have sprouted up and im so pleased
i want to do the right thing by them now

You can pot them on as normal, but they will need to be kept under cover and frost free during the winter.

Wait until they have several leaves to repot them. Use a well drained, neutral to slightly acid compost. Keep them someplace sunny, and feed them regularly with a 3-1-1 proportioned plant food--such as 30-10-10--as long as they are trying to grow. That might be all winter if they are someplace warm enough, such as a sunny window in the house. As they get older, let the top cm of compost dry out between soakings.
