i all i have several fruit trees in my garden plum apple cooking and eating and pear if i cut them rihgt down to managable height will i kill them and when is the best time to do this they are about ten years old i get good amount of fruit from all thanks in advance

They will need to be pruned in stages, not cut right back. I think it is well worth getting in a professional to do this as you treat each tree differently.
