why won't my saponaria ocymoides flower?

Thanks Bamboo - I bought it new this year in probably June, so that explains alot. When would you recommend cutting back as a young plant?

Usually done immediately flowering is over, and cut back fairly hard at that time, so around May/June. Don't do it now...

Previous question
This one only flowers in Spring, usually around May, and not now. If it didn't flower back in Spring (if you had it then) did you cut it back early in the year or the previous autumn?
