im looking some advice on cuttings and growing plants from seed. I've never done either but this year i've decided to give it a try. So far i've taken cuttings from plants in the garden and they're currently on the kitchen windowsil covered with clear plastic bags. Can these be moved into a coldframe in the garden and when? Will they survive the winter in a coldframe before planting out in spring 2012? i've taken cutting from erysium, euforbia, cosmos, lavender and monarda so far. Any help and suggestions would be great!

Are they well rooted now if so i would put them in a cold frame to harden off, if you place them on a tray or in a small box then you can quickly transfer them to another place in case we have long periods of penetrating frosts.
