Can i reuse the compost from potato grow bags when the potates are lifted. the compost was general purpose.
also ... one of my potato bags ... i think mabe i left it too long ... i planted in early april . cut the shaws off about a month ago ... and now, its putting out new growth. which looks quite vigorous. should i leave it to grow and if so, what happens to my first crop?

The compost wont have any nutrients left in it just spread it around your flowering plants as a mulch. I suggest you need to lift those potatoes now or you are likely to lose the crop.
