I live in Anchorage, Alaska and we have three beautiful Rhodochitons hanging around our front door. I want to keep them over the winter and was wondering, does anyone know how to keep them? I cannot leave them outside as it will be freezing at night in a few weeks. Today is Sept. 20, 2011
I had a couple last year and didn't know they were perennials. Thank you! Linda

It would be difficult, Lindacy, since it is only perennial in tropical to subtropical climates. If you have a heated greenhouse, it would be fairly easy. Otherwise, I would try to keep it indoors in a warm, sunny window, with weekly "showers" to keep off the spider mites.
