Anemones - I have some bulbs and I know that you have to soak them but what time of year can I plant them?
Thanks.

I dont soak mine if I am planting them at this time of year. they will soak up the winter rain/snowmelt.

Oh no, soaked mine last night and planted them today. My garden is very dry though, had no proper rain for months, the holes I dug were dry, I hope they're OK. Instructions said to soak but no mention of for spring planting.

Thanks for your comments, won't be planting them for about a month tho as waiting for other things to die off so that I can use the tubs that they were in.

You can plant them now, but do not soak them as soaking is only if you plant them out in spring. If you soak them now then you may get mold growing on them.
