killing off a tree trunk

hammer as many copper nails into it as u can ,given time this will kill it without chemicals , cut the sprouting branches and hammer a couple straight into the small cuts as well.

you can buy a product called'tree root and stump killer', your local garden should have it or try b&q , used it on several old roots and they have not come back.........steve

I used to use something called 'Root Out' (I think) but I think it is now banned list.
