Please can you tell me when to prune olive trees sorry I cant send a photo but I have three trees about 10 feet high with shoots coming from the stems and the top growth... also is fruit born on new or old growth ?

If your olive trees are outside all through the winter, do not prune them now - do it in spring, just after they've flowered, or earlier if you want, but not before end of March. You will not get a crop of olives, our climate is not suitable, grown as ornamentals only. In very hot summers, you might be lucky and see one or two.
